Day 51
A result at last! My first contract has been signed, sealed and delivered! Now it is just a matter of getting the 'subject to sale' clause across the line, and my first deal is all wrapped up.
It feels incredibly good to have the first sale under my belt, especially when I know that the second one is not far away.
Much of my day was spent putting together more mailouts and newsletters, to keep my ponds informed of my continuing existence and desire to sell their properties. I also spent some time working finalising bank accounts for a trust that I have recently set up so that I can start investing in property myself. Just in time too, because I plan to make my first purchase in a refurbished hotel/apartment building this weekend.
Tip of the Day:
When you sell a home in any area, send out a flyer immediately letting everyone nearby know. Once you have proven that you can do it once, you stand a good chance of being offered the opportunity to do it again.
