Day 47
This morning, prior to taking some photos of my new listing, I engaged in some removalist work (ie, shifting armchairs to free up some space) in my latest listing. It's great to see how keen the couple are to sell it, and I have a feeling it won't be hard to sell at all.
The fact that the lady three doors up has listed an almost identical property at $30,000 won't hurt the cause either. I have also arranged to open the home this weekend (despite the fact that I have a 21st party to attend Saturday), and I am looking forward to seeing what kind of feedback comes from it.
Can I get two properties to contract this month? I hope so, and only time will tell.
Tip of the Day:
When you are taking photos of homes for marketing purposes, keep in mind who you are marketing to. If it is a nice modern apartment, but the owners have old, tired furniture try to avoid getting the furniture in your main photos - go for views and outside shots. You don't need to show off the whole home - that's why you have opens - just make sure you get the highlights.
