Day 65
Today was a fairly uneventful day in the office - I put together some advertising, made a few phone calls and arranged some inspections.
The highlight of the day was a seminar I attended after work. I worked with Scott Groves at my last job where he conducted some sales training, and given that I found much of what he said to be interesting, and some of it to be downright useful I don't have much hesitation attending free seminars that he puts on. It was a good broad seminar aimed at business-owners who want to increase their business, but the content was quite adaptable to the sales situation I am in.
Long story short - here is Scott's website, and I am going back for a full day of advertising/copywriting training in a few weeks.
Tip of the Day:
Once again, seminars are a great idea. Even those that aren't real estate specific. Nework, network, network! You are going to meet people, and people buy and sell property. Chances are, if you are attending the same seminar, you will have something in common - the path to solid rapport is already in place, and eventually it could well lead to a sale.
