Day 31
Today was spent doing a little research on my new patch, and phoning up residents to arrange meetings in my current ones. In addition, I had an inspection on a unit this evening, which went very well - I can sniff my first sale here, and it smells good. Granted, if it sells, by the time we pay conjuncting agents and internal splits, I am only eligible for 12% of the commission, 12% of a comission on a $1 mill + property is a hell of a lot better than 12% of nothing.
Tip of the Day:
If another agent is bringing a client to your property (and you have some notice) make sure you organise things like splitting the comission - down to percentages - beforehand. Preferably in writing. You don't want a deal, or a professional relationship to fall through because of something that takes only five minutes to sort out.
