Day 16
My big news for today is that one of the homes I had listed was sold. Sadly, not by me. Such is the disadvantage of an open listing. On the plus side, my buyers for it have requested that I keep a lookout for something similar, so that when something good does come up, I will be able to move more quickly next time.
The upshot of this is that I am down to a single listing and will probably need to find another property to open on the weekend.
Tip of the Day:
Low on listings? Chances are your office will have more properties than the staff are physically able to open in a single weekend. Chat to your colleages and see if they have anything you can open - in as high a traffic area as possible. Sure, if you sell it, you will have to split the comission with the listing agent - but that is still far better than nothing - and even if you don't sell it, it will be a valuable chance to meet potential buyers for other properties.
